That outflow boundary (Arch) pushing away from the disturbance states my point from this mornings discussion (Littlle surface inflow in the boundary layer). Also, the famous naked swirl term we always use when the LLC is moving away from the deeper convection is now evident on visible sat.
This process should continue today as the circulation moves further west.
Thanks again for all these images. However, always remember core temp, hot towers, T-numbers and convective flares mean little when a disturbance is under a relentless mid-upper attack (Jet will always win out) unless it's an evolving pattern.But, will be useful when a disturbance will remain under a very favorable environment, as will be the case this year. That's when these points you make will be significant, .
Look forward to your images and IMHO would tone down coverage of every single wave. Analyze more closely those disturbances before going all out post after post. Just a friendly opinion. |
