And I think that the overall majority of model runs have made landfall on the Texas Coast for at least 12 hours now. But the Euro---the Euro, has moved the least, only inching up the Mexican coast during most of that time. Hey Doug, keep posting those models. Simple as it seems, I really rely on you guys for the model input. I called E Tex when all models showed Mex Coast (I mean way east--Beamont), and you are right to express concern for Houston. If the storm gets on a poleward course just offshore, it could make landfall just below Galveston---Is that the Freeport area that Maxdog keeps mentioning???and then give the bulk of its surge and wind to Galveston-Houston. But overall I'm with you---dangerous situation with so many models saying Tex Coast and NHC sticking to N Mex.
