Without being flip or casual with this comment---because you know right now its beginning to get to crunch time---I think you might be right. Euro has gained a lot of respect---but I posted on what you just mentioned---it looks to be underestimating the potential strength of this system. Euro is by no means perfect---remember I mentioned to you what happened on the Texas Coast last year---Euro was the western outlier---showing an Ike strike down at Corpus---it was very late when it swung back up toward Galveston---Ike actually hit east of Gavleston Bay too---near Crystal Beach. Right now everything from Brownsville to Galveston is under the gun--and I can't even rule out my early hunch of Beaumont (your area I think). The system is already nudging a little more north than expected---and when this freight train gets going---it could take something to get him off the tracks.
