I believe that info is true---Alex first June hurricane in basin in 15 years

That statement was just given out over one of the news networks. Of course a few trop storms. But from memory there was an early June storm upgraded to hurricane (would have been '95) with the name of Allison. (Before the deadly Allison of Houston---in 2001). Can place it because of family events at that time (in 95). But I think it may have been downgraded just before landfall around the big bend area of Fl????
