| Agreed. I don't understand why people think folks all along the east coast should be all up in arms about a ten percent chance of seeing a wind gust and a wave. You'd think we had another Hazel on our hands. If the "information age" has had any pronounced affect on the way human beings perceive weather, it's that it's made it a lot easier for media to cash in on hype and for ordinary people to escape the boredom of their daily lives with the passing thrill of a (kind of) close call with a storm. |
