Huh? What are you talking about? I never suggested TD-16 would have a deadly surge.

I simply commented how water is the big destroyer;  in the East it's primarily from flooding; while in the Gulf it's from surge. And that many people have little interest in a storm that lacks great winds.

The possible 10" rainfall in the Appalachians you mentioned could be a real killer. I think we can take it to the bank that some people are going to drown this week; wind or no wind.
