| Morning Freesong: A road trip through the Midwest in the middle of winter is not fun. Today, it looks like we will get about 2 to 3" in the north part of Indy where I am. Looks like a maybe 5 or 6" band just to the south of Indy. http://www.wishtv.com/subindex/weather/winter_weather After that, looks real cold for the weekend with lows around 10F. A small clipper may come thru early Saturday with maybe 1" of snow. Sunday will warm up to near freezing point and setup for a possible system Monday. SREF, at the end of its forecast period, is showing a system developing around St Louis which may follow you to Cinncy. So far NAM has not picked up on it but GFS has. GFS has a major dump to the west of St Louis at about 14" late Sunday / early Monday. Need to keep a close eye on the models and see how this pans out. I'll keep you posted.    |
