Quebec makes a lot of sense though - a lot of it is re-activated fault lines caused by the ground slowly rising after being suppressed by all that ice. OK/AR is likely a hot spot but in the same manner of Eifel in Western Germany (a few volcanic vents but no super volcano) or the Anahim spot in BC. Yellowstone has been active for 15m years now. St. Helens, it was due to blow, and as for Baker... I havent heard anything about it swarming, is it swarming again? You gotta think though that Rainer is the worst case scenario for the pacific NW - it could practically flatten Seattle.

And ps - I dont you know if you noticed or not.. but the article is a april fools joke..
