All good points Adrian, also consider that the average rain for S Fla is 5.74 inches I think only an inch below that is not a big deal. Many of our majors down here were about 1 inch below the norm with the only stand out 1965 Betsy only 0.44 inches of rain the whole month and Andrew 0.55 inches. There were also several years with less than 1" of rain & we got nothing.
