I seem to recall that, several days before Brett, CMC was indicating that something would develop east of Jacksonville from a stalled front, that it would drift a bit offshore of FL then head NE. It just initially missed out on how far south the drift would be.
I agree that CMC isn't the model with the best track record but I have seen it "first on the scene" from time to time as it was, to my knowledge, with this system. As always, all we have to do to know if it is right is wait.
By the way, I enjoy lurking on this board, reading people's opinions, how they arrive at them and the resources they use. I learn a lot and appreciate the knowledgeable folks who post here. |
