Re: I think hurricanes (thier rain) can affect pollen levels

as with most particles in the air, it creates an atmosphere for afternoon popcorn  t-storms, which has been quite a bit here in the SC area.  It's more of a science thing than anything if i remember from my early days of school, particles in the air+clouds=rain.  I could be wrong in this tho as it's coming up on 20 yrs since I graduated High school ;)  But as for pollen and it's correlation to hurricane seasons...I don't think that plays into a factor IMO. But as it has been said on this board, the NAO will be nuetral so it's anyones guess how this season may turn out.  Me personally with how warm it's been so far this spring, that this summer is going to heat up, which means the hurricanes will stay far away from SC this year thankfully as I have a feeling that the Bermuda high will be sitting over us all year round and it rain all around us but not on u but we may catuch that occasional severe popcorn t-storm now and then.
