Warmer....less snow...earlier spring...??water temps

...'just curious. Question for you gurus.
How are the Gulf temps compared to this time in past years? Are they the same or a bit warmer?
Questions on things like the pollen connection/no connection to hurricane season sparked my curiousity.
I could see that the side effects of a warmer/rainy vs. 'snow' winter and spring definitely could get more pollen out there earier. And, with less true snow pack....the Mississippi most likely is a bit warmer than with a normal spring thaw.
'So...any change in the Gulf water temps...or even the East Coast water temps compared to previous years?
As we know...the warmer those waters...the more trouble that could be brewing for the season. |
