Very surprised by NHC track

Am I the only one really perplexed by the NHC track? Not so much the fact they have it heading towards Texas, but with the amount of confidence that they do, especially when you look at the dependable models. The NHC usually always takes the GFS and GFDL's overall model into mind when forecasting, and in this case, they threw it out. Very surprised. All they said about the GFS was how there's discrepancy in their own track, which I've never seen them reference before.

I'm looking at the updated spaghetti map, and it still has tracks all over the place. I was expecting a track where they have a big cone with it meandering a bit the next 5 days. Seems to me that the NHC is putting its entire stock in the Euro. Anyways, the meteorologist here in Louisiana just said no need to worry about this thing, it's headed straight towards Texas, so I guess I'll take my guard down.
