Thanks Cypress.

The problem with Jeff's site is it's designed for someone like me who likes to read, can read well and more the way I write... it's verbally intensive.

The problem with the site on the NHC is that it requires a deeper understanding of the models than the newbie or even an intermediate level weather tracker can handle. It becomes a sense of visual, verbal overload.

Thank you! Great sites for many of us...

What I am saying is... let's put it this way. Many people have learning problems, many.. many who are attracted to weather and love the maps, grids... images w/o words that they cannot process.

Case in point. I have a few kids who have learning problems. They are auditory learners. Either of those pages would make them go into panic mode... one daughter is/was extremely dyslexic. Many people have what is now called Adult ADHD.. I think..

Is there a site that has a simple list, easy to read and understand for people who are not good at reading indepth discussion (like my post... for example lol... I have children who won't read anything from me longer than a brief text message.....)

Models: update times.

With the most minimum amount of words...

Would really appreciate it.

I get asked this often.

Someone recently emailed me and said it used to be "easy" as there were less models and the websites were simpler in their layout.  They want to know if they were going to stay up for a model, an important one...which one would it be (or which two say) and what time would they need to stay up for it...   This was written by a nursing mother, who while taking care of a small newborn and playing on her iPhone and tablet she cannot sit and read through long posts.

She reads my blog.

www.hurricaneharbor.blogspot.com

always amazes me how many people read info online yet they are lost in large websites such as www.weather.com as there is just too much to choose from so they give up and look for a simple App...then they want more.

Gen X or Z or whatever we are on ... I suppose likes a summary :)

Twitter is giving way to Tumblr for example ...

thank u sooo much cypress am sure it will help the more advanced of us ...
