Re: Pictures around my neighborhood in Tampa

Things got more interesting this morning. A neighbor called me an hour ago and said the roads were flooded. We thought the storm drain was clogged. It was, with sea water. The tide was so high that the fresh water that had just fell in a heavy band couldn't go anywhere. We never quite had that problem before. Eventually it finally receded. I walked to the front entrance of my neighborhood and it is already flooded. In fact one car is already abandoned with its lights flashing in the flooded road. I was going to help but they already left. We have two newspapers here in Tampa. The one that delivers early made it in, only four papers near our storm drain that they delivered were circling around the storm drain in a whirl pool. The other paper probably will not make it unless they have something more than an ordinary car, or a boat, lol.

My neighbor was pumping water out of their backyard just to make sure it didn't do some flooding.

I might go out again when some people start going to work. Or rather, try to go to work. Can help push some more cars.
