My thoughts are that had the MJO been in the area... most of those storms would not be wanna be storms but more developed, stronger storms.
Yeah, you either like MJO or you don't. I do.
During the season we get storms... MJO bumps up the storms I believe but it's one of those things you can't prove as everyone has an opinion.
My opinion is it's funny that 92 has a 70% chance and a red circle, yet it pales in comparison in convection to the "disorganized" remnants of Florence..

MJO isn't a mystery, but it's a hard sell to some skeptics. |
