| Yes, of course, bobbi. But this idea that powerful storms move poleward just because they're powerful is a misnomer. A storm's power is irrelevant to its forecast path so long as a strong steering ridge is in place, in which case it can be a 175 mph storm at 895 mb and still head due west. |
