Unlike Sandy and its nor'easter part, nor'easter's in general often seem very tough to predict. The good thing is that they are very different from Sandy. It will come with power outages and some minor coastal flooding, though its impacts in this case will be worse due to the passage of Sandy, since many beaches and dunes were severely impacted. Debris is everywhere so depending on the wind that could potentially be an issue. Hopefully they can get people to shelters who need it. Also, it will of course interfere with relief efforts, including food distribution, and impact those who are without power, with even colder nights. It will put lives in danger, but I think if anyone has had access to information that really needs it up there, they realize something is likely to impact them in some manner and hopefully they have taken whatever steps they can to prepare regardless of how the forecast may change from day to day. While they are all used to nor'easter's, given how things were left after Sandy, I think a lot more people will be more prepared, if possible, than they otherwise would have been.
