| Tropical storm Andrea is either hiding and planning a sneak attack, or she decided to leave Alligator Point alone and visit somewhere else. Right now it is not even raining here on Alligator Point and the surf does not have any white caps as far toward the horizon as I can see from gulf-front windows. The sky is overcast greyness and looks like fog may roll in soon. There is a light breeze ... I just went out on our upper west-side deck overlooking the gulf and it is pleasant out there with just a fine mist in the air. I see a family out walking on the long beach to the east of us. So far ... better weather than we had expected today. |
