Levi articulates his videos well with an overall good presentation but he does conjure up some things that simply are not there. He kept saying that Dorian would redevelop in the Bahamas even though the models did not support it & the shear was ridiculous.  Even with 92L while south of Jamaica he claimed likely a tropical storm would form before going into the central gulf where it would be a threat to Ala & Fla panhandle ignoring the shear factor and creating an imaginary  ridge aloft..  This is one of the reasons I have nearly stopped doing my videos is that in order to get significant viewers you must (wish cast- create fantasy ridges- act like shear is no big deal) and they will follow. There are too many people out there now producing these videos where accuracy is irrelevant, pressures mean nothing and the storm will develop & head your way no matter what. Even TWC tropical updates are very detailed with models etc; far cry from the Steve Lyons days but yet another avenue with details up the ying yang to twist everyone's brains into mass confusion. As far as hype on TWC I have been complaining about it for years making a huge deal out of 40mph tropical storms with 5 mets on camera in location. Then yesterday a TWC met said lets hope it stays unfavorable the rest of the season, REALLY? there goes the revenue!!
