| Well, Chris, I almost wish I hadn't asked, even with your caveats about the accuracy (or lack of same) of the GFS. We're going to be removing our hurricane shutters in the near future in preparation for re-siding the house, so heaven help us if anything serious pops up. We've just watched far too much perfect construction weather pass us by, and don't want to be in the middle of the project come the holidays. Can't afford to wait too much longer anyway as our existing siding continues to deteriorate, but permitting will take a little while and I guess we can always pull the plug if we have to before committing to the shutter removal. Still, it's a crap shoot, we know. Thanks in any case for all the info. You're a peach. |
