| Well, someone tell me what I am missing here, but it seems to me that Nicole's emergence would create a weakness in the ATL ridge, which would impart more of an easterly motion in Matt's future path, not westerly. From that vantage point, Nicole may turn out to be a godsend for interests along the eastern seaboard. But, like I say, tell me what I may be missing here. A strong ridge would be required to send Matt west. I don't see how the emergence of a tropical storm would facilitate that. |
