| If indeed they now are seeing a "single 18 nm-wide eye" then yes, I would expect the winds to finally catch up to the pressure, which has dropped 20 MB since 5 a.m. The concentric eye walls kept the winds down but now that we may have the single, larger eyewall established, we may see a pretty worrisome sustained surface wind by the 5 p.m. ET advisory this evening. |
