Has anyone on this board ever heard of a 110 mph hurricane with 945 mb pressure?

Seriously, what is going on here? This is bizarre. Pressure is down to 945, low enough to sustain a borderline Cat 4, yet the winds remain at 110 mph. Does the concentric eyewall structure entirely explain this bizarre discrepancy? |
