Here in the Surfside Beach/Myrtle Beach, SC area the wind has been increasing since Saturday. Just came from outside and we have Easterly winds 15-20 mph (my estimation).
Local weather forecast tells us we will have rain Monday and Tuesday and may (at least) come under a Tropical Storm Watch later today.
We will be fine here.......it is the good people of Texas whom I am concerned about. After two back to back so called 1,000 year floods here in coastal SC and NC.....my prayers go out to these good people. It is heart wrenching to watch this unfolding.
