I would be perfectly delighted to make preparations such as Shalista's. Unfortunately, since we opted to settle ourselves on a barrier island, other than for a tropical storm or Cat. 1 our hurricane plan always means evacuation -- one of the most stressful things in the world. Yes, it was our choice to be here - doesn't mean we have to love evacuations.
