| Mmmm, perhaps. Remember that Irma looks like crap right now. I'd be curious to know what her winds and pressure were like when the eye and eyewall were healthy. I suspect at least some of the disconnect between pressure and winds can be attributed to the dry, northerly mid-level shear impinging on the core and disrupting its organization. |
