A local news report this evening in our area had a report of the lack of generators. Had a camera crew at a local home improvement center, stating people should call before coming to purchase.
At our home here we are at 25 ft elevation.so we have never flooded even in 2016 and 2016, The wind is what I fear the most.
My wife and I are both senior citizens with some health issues. We had some of her diabetic medications refilled yesterday. We have already made reservations at a hotel in Columbia, SC beginning Sunday. We can cancel if needed. Both cars filled with gas. Have gathered important documents ready to grab and go. So we will be ready to leave early Sunday morning.....hoping and praying the best for all.....from the SC coast to Florida.....and Bahama islands and beyond. |
