I really dont think this is a GOM storm. At "best" it will hook into the W. Coast of Florida. Also, the Euro model has been the strongest performer and that latest run is still an E. Coast of Florida storm. The GFS has held pretty steady with the new data.

Once she slows, every wobble and ERC will dictate 100's of miles of potential landfall area.
