A former neighbor inland offered us a place to stay, so we might do that. We'll make a decision based on if it travels up the west coast of Florida, and if so, how much. Since we don't have to go too far, we'll have time to do that. We also have an alternative plan to that if we don't stay where I am. (8 to 9 feet above sea level, on a canal very close to the bay) Checking with other people's plans too. Some people are preparing and others should be preparing a little more.
I'm going to check traffic cameras: https://fl511.com/map#camera
And even Google Maps' traffic layer: https://www.google.com/maps/@29.6080311,-81.2703994,6z/data=!5m1!1e1
And determine what the best routes will be and make sure I leave plenty of time. What used to take 20 minutes might take many, many hours. So I'll plan ahead. |
