We actually haven't had much rain. Less than an inch over the past two days. Some areas have more of course. I live in a canal so rainfall doesn't impact me. Inland they had some flooding before this storm due to the rains we have been receiving lately. So it will be nice for them if we could get less.

It's going to be a busy few months working on various tropical things. I'm working on updating satellite imagery in the model and recon displays too. I'll get back to that after I update the custom satellite page that needed to be updated for GOES-East. I think I might add that to the model system too, where there will be a page that you can link to which will always have imagery centered over the storm using best track coordinates.

I need to update the recon display because in Google Chrome when you click a layer the panel scrolls to the bottom. Not sure why, so I'll have to rewrite it. I needed to rewrite it anyway. I think I know how I will reorganize that. Rather than list all the layers, people can click something to choose what they want and then it will add it to the panel so that they can reorder the layers they have selected. I'll have imagery times in the display. Maybe even image loops, but I might wait on that part because I have a lot to do. I'll also make it so you can save the options to a link so that you don't have to pick the layers you want each time. But there are lots of other things I need to do too, like update most maps to ArcGIS from Google and also update the layout of the recon and model systems to be more mobile friendly.
