Judging by the trajectory Marco is on currently,and has been on for several days now, it seems to me that a SW Louisiana or Texas landfall is too far west. My guess is that Marco will come ashore somewhere in SE Louisiana, and then move almost due north, for 24 hours or so, before turning NE. Laura, I believe will make landfall somewhere between the Alabama- Miss border and PC Beach Florida.
For the record, about 25 years ago or so, was the last time I correctly predicted the location of one single tropical system, just so you will know how much salt you should invest in my predictions ! |
