Thanks for asking about Claudette, Chris. Our new roof (completed at dusk the prior day!) held up well, far as we know - no apparent leaks. We had stowed our lightweight outdoor furniture in a spot on the deck that we thought would be safe from the predicted south/southeast (I think it was) winds, but one of those huge gusts you heard about in our area, obviously blowing from the west, took one chair east down the deck and slammed it against the wooden railing, breaking out three balusters. (Obviously we should've stowed the furniture in the garage, but didn't anticipate such heavy gusts - nor did the NWS forecasts for our area.)

OT: Unfortunately, the roofing contractor's demolition activity left a plethora of black tar streaks, lines and blotches from the old shingles on a good portion of our pale blue Hardie board siding. I'm awaiting their plan to somehow fix the mess before we make payment. They should know exactly what they have to do; we can't be the first case of this happening. But so far no action. We wait.
