We dripped the faucets & opened cabinet doors below the sinks. The water pipes, which run under the trailer, were wrapped well with insulation specifically for that purpose, nobody could live there in a trailer in winter & not do that. One section did still freeze, but my ex bf used heat tape, the type that plugs in: https://www.just-a-taste.com/best-heat-tape-for-water-pipes/ which slowly thaws it & it ran fine after that. It also had insulated skirting, unlike what you see down south. The electric was on, so he did have a space heater we borrowed from my sister to help keep warm inside.

We used heat tape to thaw pipes in the 1st house I rented in Houston also. Those pipes had absolutely no insulation, were in the attic so if they break in the attic & leak, your sheetrock & everything under it is basically screwed - a lot of people in Texas found that out in our last freeze here.

Hey Fred - I hope the flooding stays well away from you & yours - stay safe !
