  Funny about the cool and DRY. I was in Minnesota from 6/30-7/9. It's a bit dry there. Not as humid as it seems for July and no rain where we were near Brainard while I was there. I hate to do it but again the El Cajan dam in Mexico . . . how the sub tropical jet behaved this spring and late summer. Now, of course, a dam releases spring rains. SSTs jumped off coastal Mexico where dammed river deltas so things seemed to have changed a bit and it looks like there is indeed a rain front that went thru Minnesota. I like rain so I was kind of hoping I would experience some when I was there in Minnesota, but we did have nice days there. |
