At this time, I'm not overly optimistic either. I am willing to give it a chance (as the NHC yellow circle), but I think the odds are still against it. In the last few hours, it has the look of "spreading out", or some of the storms racing ahead of it. Sort of like a disjoint between mid-level and lower level features. But we'll see.
