What I see from an electrics standpoint is convection again over the delta area of the river dammed in West Mexico by El Cajan and a similar RI issue associated with the Caracus.  See the thunderstorms around Venezuela?  Very intersting.  This is the window for it to RI because it faces an increasing solar wind on the 23 per spaceweather.com forecasts.  There was some xray activity yesterday and I would expect some in the next 24 hours with the coronal hole pointed at the earth, and solar winds are now well below 300 km/second, so it could be intereseting, but the backdrop is the low solar winds the past two years.  Has that created noctilucent clouds which create unfavorable conditions?  Or is the electrical forcing from below, in how the earth itself is 'charged'?  I don't know the answer to this, but I do know that the parallels to 1914 are unavoidable given the quiet start to the season.
