Thank you, seeing them side by side makes all the difference...
On a trivia note, astrologers who connect world events to eclipse paths also say that the length of the timing of the effects has a direct correlation to the length of an eclipse event. IE... a short eclipse time means it's effects would take a few years and a longer one many years. That is why the eclipses such as this one that was considered "so lonnngg' were watched with more reverence. Since astrology was originally one of the main sciences.. I thought it interesting and of note.
My question would be why was Australia so cloud free? Is that normal? Just seems a bit strange that it is outlined so perfectly because all the clouds stop there. Then again I never pay attention to Australia that much unless there is a storm there or... it is having problems from El Nino.
