How might we compare the visual profile of waves on the surface of a beaker full of mercury to those on the surface of a beaker full of colored gas?
I would venture that blowing air over the top of the gas would produce bigger waves than those waves created by blowing over the top of the mercury.
I guess that less dense fluids produce larger waves. |
