NHC comments on surface trough over Cuba and the Keys. Circulation is plainly visible on sat (and it is at the surface). Also, troughing further west in Gulf, and ULL out in W Atlantic, has left a nice, cozy little spot over the SE GOM ie. the keys, for more optimal upper level conditions. I also look for some development here, with a not very fast movement to the NW. May even be more of a drift, as the trough in the W Gulf plays itself out and a more southerly flow begins to reassert itself over the northern Gulf Coast. Sat Loop shows the clearly evident circulation over the keys. http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/goes/east/gmex/loop-vis.html |
