The key to recurvature is an ULL shortwave diving into the ridge in 2 to 3 days.  If that forecast does not pan out then he will travel further west before feeling the effects of the forecasted trough.  Shortwave ULL's have been very numerous in the SE this year and the trough's have been unusually deep and persistent.  Until this pattern breaks I think we will see a Billfish, but it's still a week away so stay tuned.
