Some more xray activity has occurred. Solar winds are over 500 km/second but falling.
Meanwhile the anticyclone may not be over the storm but it is centered inbetween the storm and where the storm would draw theta ts from the ICTZ. This is starting to be much more defined. Also some of the isobars from the anti cyclone go over the storm and then ride to the ITCZ, but some go over the north portion of the storm then to . . . the Yucatan.
Very interesting.
Bastardi's call is to the west of the NHC track. Points out correctly warm SSTs along Maine coast. Thinks this is a 930 MB storm.
If there is xray activity that continues like this he will be right. |
