Nicole, the Hurricane Hunter girl on TWC (who got a great makeover since NBC bought them), just absolutely said that Erika is going to weaken and disolve into nothingness on the 3:50 AM Eastern tropical update. She had no problem putting a tombstone on this storm.
I'm posting this because I want to see if the latest winner of "Hurricane Hunter Makeover" still has her chops. I know she's on the late shift rotation, but people like me who have been on the road for 17 hours are in a very suggestive state (pretty much anyone up this late).
She flat out said it's nothing. Of course she ended it with the patented local weather jock phrase "But we'll keep an eye on it for you".
The 09/03 00Z GFDL (stick that in your decoder) has got something for you honey. BTW recon is penetrating Erika as I post this.....
