| That type of stuff is so typical when there is a disorganized system like this. On air mets " or so called mets" wishcast disspation and completely ignore model data that says it could strengthen. Just yesterday on 2 different radio stations here at top of the hour news "good news Erika should be no problem for south florida as it is forecast to dissipate in the next couple of days". If they are mets dont they look at model data and at least not completely write the system off. Like Jackstraw said earlier energy like that is constantly firing has a trigger point & until that convection goes away this should not be written off. This type of stuff happens with track too the on air mets will say good news it is turning away from the US without mentioning most models bending a system west in coming days because the current forecast has not reflected it yet. |
