I think something has to be said for space weather.
He does point out the effects on the stratosphere.
I am also still trying to correlate X-ray activity to 03 pressure in the tropopause and how that can affect warm- and cold-cores.
Also, I am beginning to visualize perturbations in the earth's magnetic field and how that could have an effect on storm organization.
It becomes very complicated when a magnetic or electric field suddenly changes with time.
According to Maxwell's Laws, new electric and magentic fields are then produced.
