Thanks for following this closely right now, JAC.  The squall line is just to the western edge of us and we are surrounded in heavy wind-driven rain and thunder/lightning.  The surf is very high and likely to get worse as we reach high tide at 2:38PM EST.  We are on very high pilings only 60 feet from the water's edge on the open Gulf behind a granite revetment.  The waves usually break over the revetment during severe storms here on Alligator Point. Waterspouts are a concern.
