Both pictures the same one, second one is just closeup. It was impossible to get a good picture of the actual ice. It melted quite fast.

Temperature at the time, 40F.

So much more H2O in the Gulf, drop temp, drop! (But above freezing please.)

Actually it was only about 5 minutes of where you could hear it hitting trees, but I went out twenty minutes later and it was still happening a little, but I think it was a lot more plain liquid at that point.
