One thing that has been keeping Oli from strengthening faster than it has is that UL winds on the north quad (equatorward outflow channel) have been inhibiting outflow.
However, with hot towers starting to fire strengthening could become more rapid.
Poleward outflow channel has really developed nicely in the last 24 hrs.
Eyewall is starting to look good.
Are you on the island at 16.9S, 151.5W?
