The Weather is going crazy in New England

Man.. I can not remember the last time there was a Tornado Watch for 2 consecutive days in a row anywhere in New England. That happened last weekend. A tornado ripped through northern Vermont into Northern New Hampshire and into Maine. In Boston, Beacon Hill was hit by a strong Microburst causing extensive tree and property damage.
Today in Connecticut, surprise storms hit in the afternoon. 2 Tornado Warnings were issued! A funnel cloud spotter in Litchfield, a girl struck by lightning in Goshen.
The weather is going crazy. Is it La Nina coming back? Or is it El Nino? We need answers. My 5 year old is afraid a tornado is going to hit the house, because the weather weather alarm went off many times today with the tornado warnings. This is Connecticut... not Kansas. People think tornadoes don't hit up here. Well, with the enhanced dopplers, you don't always need a tornado to hit the ground to get a warning. These storms are serious business. People need to take the warnings seriously. At least a hurricane you have much advance warning. With a tornado, you might only get 2 minutes.
