I must say that I tend to agree with you Beachman. The authorities continue to say that conditions ahead of the system are somewhat favorable, but I don't know. It also looks to me like a respectable amount of shear, and I know Jimw had posted a day or so ago that he also thought there was quite a bit of shear ahead of this thing. Will wait and see. I tell you I feel a lot more comfortable tracking an already developed system, than in trying to forecast TC formation in the first place.
